»5000 glass discs with LED lights behind it encapsulate the complete façade of a luxurious department store in Seoul, Korea. the LED lights can change the color of each of the discs & thus enable the creation of a vivid play of colors & graphics to be displayed. graphic media wraps around the volume, forming a skin to the building, fluid & dynamic.« [via information aesthetics / unstudio.com|xilver.nl]

## FhG: Cooperative Buildings

»Due to the new role office buildings will have in the future, one has to reflect this in the overall design of the workspaces of the future. In order to emphasize that the starting point of design should be the architectural environment – even a person navigating in the chat rooms of cyberspace is sitting somewhere in the real space – we use the term "building" and not "spaces". By further calling it a "cooperative building" we want to indicate that the building serves the purpose of cooperation and communication.«
