## CorpCalendar-0.9»Corp Calendar is a simple little calendar application for Zope suitable for small groups or companies.« ## Slew of new calendering products for Plone »Several products were recently released which give Plone better support for calendaring: PloneiCalendar, CalenderX and Calendaring.« ## How to make a calendar server with Plone 2 The objective of this HowTo is to use Plone 2 and few open-source components to build a iCalendar server. PloneiCalendar is a simple product designed by Ingeniweb to handle calendar files in Plone. It is based on the iCalendar file format. iCalendar can be used to transport personal calendaring information between applications of your choice whether they are personal information managers, email systems or web browsers. Once an iCalendar is created in plone, you can share it with other users or groups, keep it private or modify it by using standard calendar applications like mozilla calendar or ical. I went looking recently for a Python module to interface with iCal, and couldn't find one. But I DID find Rod Schmidt's excellent article for doing the same thing with Ruby. So, naturally, I ported his solution to Python!
